R.I.P. Television Commercial

On this day April 1st, 2017 the year of our Lord Benjamin,
the Television Commercial has died.
Born July 1st, 1941, the Television Commercial
grew and grew; eventually interrupting
your favorite shows and doing it for decades.
A long and painful passing,
the TV Commercial leaves behind billions of marketing dollars
that will be put in a trust overseen by
THE|MACHINE a friend of the Commercial family
that has long forseen their dear friend’s demise.
With strategic partnerships,
award winning talent, and a knack for stroytelling,
THE|MACHINE will fill the void left behind
by the TV Commercial.  Through their work with
niche-based distribution outlets, Star Talent and diverse
storytellers, the Television Commercial will be reborn
as CONSUMER VALUED CONTENT.
The TV Commercial will be forever
remembered by the same people that remember dial-up
internet, Blockbuster, and a world without Facebook,
Snapchat, or Instagram.
It is survived by its biggest supporters:
Ad Agencies, Network Television and the UpFronts.
